How can we help?

Organic Mantra product, lab testing and Australian delivery FAQ illustration

What is Organic Mantra?

Organic Mantra is an Australian food brand offering traditionally prepared Indian pantry products for Australian households. We focus on clearly explaining each product’s ingredients, origin, preparation method and available quality documentation.

Where are Organic Mantra products made?

Our current ghee and wheat flour products are produced in India and imported into Australia. Country-of-origin information can vary by product, so please check the individual product page and package label for the most specific information.

How can I confirm whether a product is certified organic?

Organic certification applies only where it is stated for the individual product and supported by the current product label or certification document. Please check the product page and packaging, or contact us if you need confirmation before purchasing.

Are laboratory reports available?

We publish available reports on our Lab Reports page. Each report should be read together with its sample description, testing date and test scope; a report does not automatically apply to every product or batch.

Where can I find delivery information?

Available delivery options, charges and estimated timeframes are shown during checkout. Please also review our Shipping Policy for the current terms.

What should I do if my order is damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us promptly through the Contact page with your order details and photographs where relevant. Returns and remedies are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable Australian consumer protections.

How should I store Organic Mantra products?

Follow the storage directions and best-before information printed on the product label. For ghee, keep the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use a clean, dry spoon.

Where can I learn more about A2 Bilona Ghee?

Our A2 Bilona Gir Cow Ghee product page explains the cultured-curd Bilona process, cooking uses, storage, natural texture variation, laboratory reports and allergen considerations.

Do you offer wholesale ordering?

For wholesale availability, pack sizes and current commercial terms, please contact Organic Mantra through our Contact page. Product availability and terms can change.

Where can I check ingredients and allergen information?

Always check the current product page and package label before purchase or consumption. If you have a food allergy or medical concern, do not rely on general website information alone; seek appropriate professional advice when needed.

Why is fermentation used if live cultures do not remain in finished ghee?

Fermentation is part of the preparation before churning. The later clarification step heats the butter, so finished ghee should not be described as a source of live probiotics unless that claim is supported by specific testing. We value fermentation for its role in the traditional process and the flavour and aroma of the finished ghee.

Does Organic Mantra A2 Bilona Ghee contain live probiotics?

We do not market the finished ghee as a probiotic food. Cultures are used during fermentation, but ghee is subsequently clarified with heat. The fermentation step and a live-probiotic claim are not the same thing.

What makes the Bilona method different from cream-to-ghee production?

The Bilona sequence begins with milk that is set into curd, followed by churning to separate butter and then clarification into ghee. Many commercial methods begin with separated cream instead. The clearest differences are the preparation sequence, time and resulting sensory character—not a promise to treat or prevent a health condition.

Is Bilona ghee nutritionally superior to conventional ghee?

Both are predominantly milk fat. Nutrient levels can vary with raw materials and production, and we do not claim that Bilona ghee is nutritionally superior without product-specific evidence. Please use the nutrition information panel and available batch documentation for verified information about our product.

Is ghee lactose-free?

Clarification removes most milk solids, so ghee generally contains only small residual amounts of lactose and milk protein. However, “lactose-free” is a specific claim and individual tolerance varies. Our ghee is made from milk and is not suitable for anyone who must avoid milk unless advised by their qualified health professional.

What does Ayurveda traditionally say about ghee?

Ayurvedic traditions describe ghee through concepts such as Agni, Ojas and the doshas. These are traditional frameworks rather than modern clinical or nutritional claims. We share them as cultural and historical information, not as medical advice or a promise that our product will produce a health outcome.

Is ghee suitable for people managing a medical condition?

Ghee is a food, not a treatment. If you are managing a condition such as a milk allergy, lactose intolerance, PCOS, fertility concerns, cardiovascular disease or another dietary issue, please seek advice from a doctor or accredited practising dietitian who understands your circumstances.

Where can I read longer guides about Bilona ghee?

Our editorial blog, The Ghee Kitchen, explains fermentation, the Bilona process and the difference between traditional perspectives and substantiated nutrition information. Articles are educational and should not replace professional advice.
